This 1966 Dodge Charger was purchased by the seller out of Texas in 2010 and used for a period before being disassembled in preparation for a custom build that was never completed. The body is finished in metallic mauve, and it is fitted with a rebuilt 361ci V8 and a TorqueFlite A727 three-speed automatic transmission. Features include a FAST fuel-injection system, an aluminum radiator, a Hotchkis TVS suspension, power-assisted, four-wheel disc brakes, 17″ Hot Wheels wheels, a front spoiler, white leather upholstery, a Vintage Air HVAC system, and a custom Dakota Digital instrument panel. This modified Charger project is now offered at no reserve with spare parts and a clean Nevada title in the seller’s name.

 

The car is said to have been repainted in its current metallic mauve under previous ownership, and repairs to the right inner fender and radiator surround were performed under the seller’s ownership. The bumpers were also re-chromed, and a front spoiler was installed along with replacement headlight door relays and limit switches. The removed windshield is included in the sale and can be seen in the gallery along with the included bright trim. Areas of paint loss are also shown, and additional body and paintwork will be required according to the seller.

 

The 17″ Hot Wheels wheels feature polished rims with black centers, and they are mounted with 245/45 front and 255/50 rear BFGoodrich g-Force T/A tires. A Hotchkis TVS suspension kit featuring subframe connectors, front and rear sway bars, torsion bars, and rear leaf springs was installed under the seller’s ownership. A power-assisted Master Power four-wheel disc brake system with slotted and drilled rotors is also fitted.

 

The stripped interior retains black carpets along with a color-matched dash pad and center console. The front and rear bucket seats were retrimmed in white leather and are removed, and a color-matched headliner and door panels are included in the sale. The steering column is not connected, and the power window system will require service. The Vintage Air HVAC system installation has not been completed, and flaws include wear on the woodgrain steering wheel and a tear in one of the bucket seats.

 

The uninstalled factory-style instrument surround features a set of Dakota Digital gauges.

 

The 361ci V8 was rebuilt by Vegas Machine of Las Vegas, Nevada, and a COMP Cams Thumpr camshaft was added along with a Spectre cold-air intake, a March serpentine belt system, MagnaFlow mufflers, and a FAST direct port fuel injection system, the installation of the latter of which is incomplete. An aluminum radiator was also fitted at that time.
